Join us for a one hour private, guided tour of this beautiful church, the fifth largest cathedral in north America and the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.

Although construction began on this spectacular French-Gothic style church in 1898 and worshippers were first welcomed in 1928, construction actually lasted 95 years. Pope John Paul II visited the cathedral in 1995 and elevated it to basilica status due to its beauty and history.

If you would like, join us for lunch afterwards at Sol-Mar Restaurant, 267 Ferry Street, Newark, NJ. This Portuguese restaurant has a large menu with many types of entrees and is delicious!
