Join our fascinating and delightful conversations about African American art and artists with Chichi Lovett!
About a year ago, our first virtual conversation with
African American artist and educator, Chichi Lovett, on
the role that art plays in commenting on and enhancing
our mirror into social issues, was so engaging that
participants asked for more! And once a month we’re
still talking!
Each session is a separate and complete journey
through a work of African American art. Our
discussions are broad: information about the creator of
the piece, sometimes some art history, honest
reactions to what we see in the work of art and how it
makes us feel, etc.! These camera-on, live discussions
follow the format of Professor Lovett’s popular on-line
classes.
Prior art experience of any kind is not
necessary. These stimulating, in-depth discussions are
for everyone!
