DC (P) Immerse Yourself in King Tut’s World (Noon/1:30 pm ET)

On Saturday, Jan. 7 at 1:30 p.m. join the Museum Arts SIG as we visit “Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience" at the National Geographic Museum. The exhibit celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. The exhibit uses multimedia to explore the gods of the underworld, the practice of mummification, and the explorers who continue to make discoveries about ancient Egypt.

Follow this link to purchase an advance ticket. Tickets are $16 for those 62+ and $20 for general admission. Tickets are selling out for some time slots for Jan. 7, so buy your ticket(s) soon if you plan to attend.  Make sure your ticket is for the 1:30 admission.

National Geographic is located at 1145 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC, near the intersection with M Street. The nearest Metro stop is Farragut North on the Red Line.
