Katie Kettlehake, Engagement Manager, Freedom a la Cart, will give a presentation on CATCH Court, Freedom a la Cart, and sex trafficking in our county.

For over 25 years, Freedom a la Cart has partnered with Franklin County Municipal Court's CATCH Court program. CATCH is a specialized docket designed to identify victims of sex trafficking, help get them into treatment and give them a chance to restore their lives during and following their involvement with the justice system.

More than 92% of individuals involved in prostitution are exploited at a young age and want to escape. CATCH exists to break the cycle of abuse for victims of human trafficking, prostitution, and sexual exploitation by providing resources, community, and accountability. 

Today, Freedom a la Cart continues to work alongside CATCH Court to fill gaps in service and build relationships of trust with the individuals going through the court's two-year program. They provide the group with monthly outings, weekly luncheons, retreats and a graduation ceremony.

They provide individuals with personal mentors and basic needs like clothing and hygiene products when they get out of jail, help with reinstatement of driver's licenses and assistance in securing birth certificates and other IDs.

They provide jobs at the Café. Freedom a la Cart Café and Bakery serves fresh baked pastries, scratch-made meals, and coffee as a meaningful extension of their mission-focused business. 

Dinner will be catered by Freedom a la Cart.

Each attendee who wishes to eat dinner will need to select a box dinner and email Mary Smithson marysmithson47@gmail.com with your selection by July 11. (see below) Bring Your Own Drink.

#5. Caprese Chicken | locally-sourced Ohio roasted chicken, roasted red tomatoes, provolone, arugula, pesto aioli, balsamic & olive oil 
#6. Hummus Vegetable Wrap [v] | roasted tandoori cauliflower, shredded carrots, arugula, housemade citrus hummus, chimichurri lemon vinaigrette, spinach tortilla 
#7. Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap | locally-sourced Ohio roasted chicken, bacon, provolone, romaine lettuce, spinach tortilla & Caesar dressing 
#8. Caesar Salad | crisp romaine hearts, shaved parmesan, grape tomatoes, housemade brioche croutons & Caesar dressing
