We will explore the Conservatory, a greenhouse containing two courtyard gardens and 10 garden rooms under glass, then walk the National Gardens, including the Rose Garden and the First Ladies Water Garden. After that, we will head across the street to Bartholdi Park. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for this visit.

Public Transportation
You can reach the gardens by taking the Orange, Blue, or Silver line Metro to the Federal Center SW station. Exit the station, walk north (left) along Third Street SW for two blocks, cross Independence Avenue, and continue one more block to Maryland Avenue. Look toward the Capitol and see the Conservatory's glass dome. The Conservatory entrance is on Maryland Avenue.
Parking
There is metered street parking spaces available within a few blocks of the U.S. Botanic Garden. The Garden does not have its own parking lot or parking spaces.
