Embark on an enriching journey through Philadelphia's history and architectural splendor with a comprehensive, private guided tour encompassing three iconic landmarks: Christ Church, its soaring Steeple & Skyline experience atop Neighborhood House, and the historic Christ Church Burial Ground.

We will begin our exploration within Christ Church, a National Historic Landmark and active Episcopal parish. Knowledgeable Educators will illuminate the church's rich history, its connection to the Founding Fathers, and its exquisite Georgian architecture. Marvel at and hear more about the church’s grand 3,095 pipe organ, the historic pews where generations have worshipped, and other unique features with its wall. We will also take a peek of the church’s interior from the second story gallery (stairs required).

We will then ascend to the rooftop of Christ Church Neighborhood House for an exclusive, breathtaking panoramic view of Philadelphia's skyline. Gaze upon the cityscape from a unique vantage point, and learn about the architectural significance of Christ Church's iconic steeple as you view it up close, 5 stories above street level.

Our tour will conclude with a contemplative walk through the historic Christ Church Burial Ground, the final resting place of Benjamin Franklin and 4 other signers of the Declaration of Independence. Our guides will share fascinating anecdotes about the individuals interred, shedding light on their contributions to Philadelphia and the nation. Prominent figures range from doctors and physicians, arts and musicians, printers and writers, etc.

This comprehensive guided tour offers a unique and immersive experience, connecting you to the rich history, architectural beauty, and enduring legacy of Christ Church and its surrounding landmarks.

Cancellation Policy:

If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
