Did you know that as much as 70% of emissions are a results of decisions made at the household level? Join a group of women in an atmosphere of support, respect and optimism to learn what we CAN do!
Participants should plan on attending all 5 sessions held on consecutive Wednesdays.
The workshop is based on carbon reduction science developed and published by Project Drawdown (2017 book edited by Paul Hawken), further developed at Drawdown.org and explored in the upbeat 2019 documentary film and follow-up book, both entitled "2040".
Participants will watch the 2040 documentary prior to the start of the workshop and will read one chapter of the book prior to each meeting. Each week will focus on a different aspect of climate reduction.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
Margaret Mead
